Dr. Jill Norman
Dr. Jill Norman is a double board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult mental health. Known for her compassionate, personalized approach, she is committed to helping individuals and families navigate life’s emotional challenges with clarity, respect, and expert support.
Dr. Norman completed her undergraduate studies in Comparative Literature and Art History at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and earned her medical degree from St. George’s University. She went on to complete her General Psychiatry Residency at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco and pursued advanced fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Southern California. She also did additional psychodynamic training at the New Center for Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles and completed the CHLA Transgender Psychiatry Fellowship.
With a strong foundation in psychiatric emergency and inpatient care across the Bay Area and Central California coast, Dr. Norman brings deep clinical experience and a calm, steady presence to her work. She has lectured on adolescent suicide prevention and psychiatric interventions, and her practice continues to be informed by the latest evidence-based research and integrative approaches to care.
Dr. Norman’s approach is holistic and patient-centered. Drawing from her multicultural background, she recognizes how cultural, social, and family dynamics shape each individual’s experience.
